End Of Tenancy Clean In High Wycombe

We were recently asked to clean a 2 bedroom terraced house in High Wycombe where the long-term tenants were moving out after 5 years. The landlord wanted an end of tenancy clean which is a thorough clean for the property prior to re-letting it. We had 1 day to completely clean the whole house before it was being viewed by new prospective tenants.

With a team of 3 we divided the cleaning up. The property has carpets in the 2 bedrooms and the hall way and landing, with laminate flooring in the 1 bathroom and wooden flooring in the kitchen diner and lounge on the ground floor. For the carpets we carried out a low moisture deep clean which extracts the dirt, rejuvenates the pile and removes all odours, as well as being dry in a couple of hours. The laminate floor was washed whilst the wooden floors were cleaned prior to a polish. The polish creates a smooth surface without a shine to return the wood to its original appearance.

The bathroom and kitchen represented the hardest areas to clean as grime, fat and dirt accumulates in these well used areas but a thorough clean soon returns the appliances, worktops and sanitary ware in the bathroom to a clean appearance. With using the best chemicals which are also eco-friendly not only are the areas spotless, but bacteria is removed and a fresh fragrance is present throughout the house.

With the carpets now dry we could clean through both the bedrooms and lounge area as well as the landing stairs and hallway. Using ladders in the hallway we could reach the most inaccessible areas to provide a thorough clean throughout. To finish we then cleaned the windows on both the outside and inside.

The landlord returned late afternoon to inspect the cleaning and was suitably impressed and the house was already to show prospective tenants around over the next week.
